It has been a while since I’ve written a blog post. To say I’ve been discouraged about blogging lately would be an understatement. I had been doing it for the love of fashion, for the quality time it gave me with my husband/photographer, and for the chance to sharpen my writing skills. Somehow along the way it turned into a chore, which is not what I wanted this to be at all. Maybe I just needed some time away to gather my thoughts, but I have decided that I do love to blog after all! I don’t do it for the followers and the perks that seem to naturally flow towards those insta-famous bloggers we all know and love, but for myself and my sanity. It’s nice to take an hour or two out of my busy days to just sit down at the computer and research fashion and style, read other blogs, and to ramble on about clothing in written word.
With all the stress of a complete home renovation on top of the relocation of my workplace, I cherish my quiet times in comfy outfits walking through Valley Forge National Park. And as much as I love fancy shoes, nothing beats a good ole sneaker. You’ve heard me ramble on about the Adidas Superstars, so I won’t put you through it again. When paired with an over-sized striped button down and some Levi’s wedgie jeans you have the perfect fall park outfit. I love rolling up the sleeves of a good linen button down and tying the front corners. It adds a sexy, feminine touch to an otherwise boyish outfit.
I am going to truly cherish these next few weeks of wearing comfy outfits like these and enjoying the last moments of mild fall weather.
That’s all for now.
