This past weekend was Easter, so although I’m late, here it is: my Easter outfit. I am in love with this Anthropologie midi skirt. Because I am a rather tall girl, I have to make sure that my church outfits are an appropriate length, so midi skirts are normally the way I go. I love that I can look girly, but also be comfortable in them, knowing that I am not flashing anyone or having wardrobe malfunctions HAHA. I love pairing this chocolatey brown skirt with a light chambray button-up shirt and booties. For warmer spring days, I can see it paired with a crop top of some sort and some strappy stacked heels like these.
Typically people wear pastel colors on Easter Sunday, but I went the unexpected route with this brown skirt. My chambray was a touch of pastel, without being too obviously Easter themed. (I have nothing against pastels for Easter. I am actually quite fond of pastels because they look really flattering with my pale skin tone.) Since I wear pastels so often, I decided to go with something a little different for this special occasion. Who wants the wear the same old things they always do on a holiday?
Kruz and I loved being home and enjoyed time on the farm. I’m a nature enthusiast and a bit of a tree hugger, so taking photos rolling around in the grass was so much fun! Just wait for the funny IG coming soon @leesha.nicole to show just how much of a tree hugger I am…I didn’t even know Kruz caught the moment on camera until I was editing photos.
Stay tuned to see my pretty, new, flowy blouse from Free People, later this week!
