Hey everyone! Who’s ready for the weekend? I know I am! I accepted a new retail job at Free People, so this weekend will be my last weekend off and I intend to spend it celebrating with family. Anyone who knows me even a little bit, knows that I am obsessed with all things Free People, so it goes without saying that I am super excited for this new career adventure! My first day at FP is Monday, so wish me luck!
The sun is out and it is warming up in Pennsylvania, so I decided it’s time to break out the mini skirts! As I’ve said before, I am thrilled that the denim skirt craze is back. It is so easy to throw an outfit together with a denim skirt. You can go super casual like I did here with a simple cotton top, or you could dress it up with a nice blouse and heels. I was joking around with my husband that this was my “sporty look”. He thought I was insane since I’m wearing a mini skirt, but for some reason this outfit gives me a sporty girl vibe.
On a totally different note, let’s talk about Primark. The King of Prussia mall has a relatively new store called Primark. It is a popular British store that I would compare to Forever 21, but with even better deals. I got this fur clutch on sale for only $5! Crazy right! I also scored a fur coat for $20 and a blouse for $15. I know what you’re thinking, “The quality must suck.” But surprisingly the quality is pretty good. I don’t expect these “cheap” items to last forever, but for trendy items that won’t be popular forever, it is perfect! I seriously recommend checking this company out and have a feeling it is going to expand in the US pretty quickly.
Enjoy the weekend everyone! And as promised in my last post, I will be writing about my new pretty lace top on sale from Free People next, so stay tuned for that.
