Hello Ladies!…and gents if you’re reading.
My hubby and I used this beautiful day to visit the old train station by General Washington’s headquarters in Valley Forge, PA. Thanks to my father, I have a passion for historic architecture, really for history in general. As for remembering dates for history class, that’s another story. I’m not so passionate about remembering dates. LOL. It’s so interesting to learn how people lived all those years ago and what they would be doing. My parents bought a 250 year old house when I was eight years old, and watching them renovate it was the coolest thing to me. Now that I’m an adult, buying an historic home to renovate is one of my biggest dreams.
In one of my previous posts, (link here) I wore a bright red shirt that looked so flattering on me, and determined that red is my color. This maxi dress comes in light blue, black, and white, but I knew the red one was for me! Blondes should always wear red! Looking back on the photos, I wish I would have worn black sandals to match my black necklace (which I am obsessed with), but I was just so eager to go to the train station, that I threw on the first pair of sandals I saw. Random strangers walking by probably wouldn’t notice my lack of accessories coordination, but I do. Oh well. C’est la vie!
